This calendar reconstructs the ancient Greek lunar calendar, comprised of months spanning 29 or 30 days. Departing from the conventional January and February structure, each month is represented on a separate page, featuring ancient Athenian names like Poseidon, Gamelion, and more. The corresponding modern Gregorian dates are conveniently listed in the lower right-hand corner of each page. This calendar features community artists and represents hundreds of hours of labor. This edition showcases a vibrant array of festivals spanning the globe, blending ancient traditions with contemporary celebrations. In this darkest time of the year, remember that you are not alone.
