2025 Athenian Calendar

Welcome to the 2025 Athenian Calendar, proudly presented by the Temple of Dionysus and Naós of Dionysus Eleuthereus. We offer free worldwide basic shipping—if you encounter any issues, please use the promo code “Dionysus” and reach out to us at dionysus@templeofdionysus.org.

There is a cosmetic printing error where a few of the dates collide with the grid in the physical editions of the calendar. As we are a small nonprofit organization that has already devoted countless hours to this project, we have decided to reduce the price of the calendar in lieu of correcting the error. This does not affect the digital copies of the calendar and should not be a problem in future editions. Thank you for your support.

This year, our calendar features four unique editions, each showcasing the same stunning artwork but differing in the holidays listed:

• The Athena: A faithful reconstruction of the ancient Athenian calendar based on surviving records.
• The Dionysus: A vibrant mix of ancient and contemporary holidays from around the globe, beloved by our revivalist community.
• The Hecate: By popular demand, this edition includes Wiccan sabbats for those who celebrate.
• The Hermes: A convenient PDF version for reading on the go. Committed to accessibility and affordability, we are proud to offer this accessible and minimalist design for free.

The 2025 Athenian Calendar reconstructs the ancient Greek lunar calendar, consisting of months that span 29 or 30 days. Each month is beautifully represented on a separate page with ancient Athenian names like Poseidon and Gamelion, while modern Gregorian dates are conveniently listed in the lower right-hand corner.
